Cars
The Champ Car Panoz DP01’s up for sale were originally delivered in December 2006 (car #007) / February 2007 (car #018) to Rocketsports. They were driving during the 2007 Champ Car World Series season by Alex Tagliani, who finished tenth in the championship with a fourth position in the streets of Las Vegas as best result.
One year later the cars have only been used for testing purposes and the Champ Car finale in Long Beach, CA. In this race Rocketsports entered both chassis with Antonio Pizzonia and Juho Annala as drivers.
In 2009 both cars were sold to Henk de Boer, who shipped both cars and spares to Europe to compete in the Boss GP Series. That year De Boer would claim his first championship, while competing against former Formula 1 cars, GP2 cars and other historic racing cars.
